2. As for the noise-absorbing characteristics of the URSA PureOne insulation, they are confirmed by tests of scientists of the NIISF (Building Physics) of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Expanded polystyrene insulation URSA XPS

1. Strength. This material has excellent strength, as well as increased resistance to deformation. Moreover, it withstands withstand not only stretching and compression, but also perfectly resists bending. URSA XPS and 50 tons of load applied to one square meter can withstand.

3. Water permeability. URSA XPS insulation material does not absorb water. Therefore, its ability to retain heat does not decrease when exposed to groundwater or moist ground. Freezing and thawing again (more than 500 times), it remains the same. Therefore, where the ambient temperature often changes, it is quite advisable to use this insulation. This compares favorably with the fiberglass heat insulators discussed above.

4. Life time. For at least 50 years they can serve plates made of insulation of this brand. At the same time, neither the shape, nor the size of the plates, nor the characteristics of the URSA XPS will change at all. This material is not dangerous direct contact with plants or soil - this is a definite plus.

5. Flammability. Fire retardants - flame retardants - are part of the URSA XPS N-III-L. They block the path to oxygen, and thanks to this, combustion does not occur.But as already mentioned above, this material is polystyrene foam, which, if it does not support combustion, is very easily melted under, the action of temperatures releasing toxic substances.
