Metal siding is perfect for a country house. At my house, the siding "shipboard" has been standing since 2009. No changes! Durable, reliable material. The only thing I would like to change would be to put a layer of mineral wool not 5 cm, but 10.

It is not a problem to find metal siding for sale; quite often it is chosen as a facing material for buildings. At a cost it goes much more expensive than plastic siding.

Working with him is not difficult. In most cases, metal siding is made of galvanized steel; the top is treated with polyester or a powder layer.
Steel is most often 0.5 mm thick.

Such finishes have a lot of advantages, well, I would not recommend using it for living quarters. Too many nuances in work and operation.

- not suitable for residential premises, metal siding is best used for industrial buildings, small workshops, etc.
- The cost is much higher than that of a plastic counterpart.

For covering the cottages, I chose metal siding from the Metal Profile. In my opinion, metal will still be stronger than plastic. Installation took place normally, did everything independently, with its capabilities.

Siding does not rattle, does not make noise in the wind, of course it didn’t screw it completely muffled, leaving room for temperature deformations. I cut the material with scissors for metal, it was quite easy to do it. I did not try to go through the grinder on it, I was afraid that corrosion would form.

Scratches and dents do not remain, in general, to deform the material, you need to make an effort.

Plus, you don’t need to be afraid of color fading, as this happens with vinyl. My "renovated" house has been standing for the third year, there is no corrosion, no rust either. Siding is almost perfect, for such a price, the quality is wonderful. I advise everyone, metal is better than plastic.

I immediately decided that I would only sheathe the house with metal siding, as it inspires confidence in me more. In the store I liked the option from the company Metalprofile "L beam". The siding I have chosen is not the most expensive in today's market, its cost is about 360 rubles per m2. Russian metal, Kazakhstan rental.

Metal siding turned out to be the best option for me, as the house is completely new, still gives sediment. The siding was mounted by itself, everything is simple, no skills are needed for this, all that is needed in this matter is desire!

As for scratches, dents and other things, then for this you need to try, there will be nothing quality siding. I saw a cheap one from a neighbor, so he crumpled with everything, like foil on the walls.
On a one-story house measuring 10 * 12, it took about 15,000 rubles, so this is also not expensive material.

Not expensive, high-quality material, practical and durable.

There are not as many texture options as plastic.

Last year, I updated the facade of the house. The store really liked the metal siding "under the bar", the company Grand Line, and bought it. The material is not combustible, does not rot, it is easily hung up, which is only a plus for beginners in construction.

The panels themselves are very overall, their width is already 342 mm. Each of the siding panels was wrapped in film and stacked in bundles in a five-meter box. The whole structure weighed a little more than 500 kg. One package cost no more than 4000 rubles.

The remnants of the siding that landed on the ground after the winter, once again proved to me that this is quality material. Corrosion did not appear, in general, nothing terrible happened to them.

The only thing that bothered me a bit was the repeatability of the picture, with a panel length of 3.42. But here the main thing is to notice and mix packs in time.
But in general, metal siding is many times better than plastic.
