When buying doors, I met with a problem of not quite standard sizes (the width of the panels was 74 and 86 cm, and the height was 198 cm) My friends advised me to go to Geon, they said they made any sizes. I arrived at the store, consultants answered all questions and solved my problem. The manufacture of doors according to my sizes cost me without any overpayment, which was a pleasant surprise for me. As for the doors themselves, I was satisfied with the quality. Acquaintance with the doors of Geon began well. The deadlines were met, delivered on time, the staff are polite. We have a Stalinist apartment, the ceilings are tall and the doors naturally require corresponding, much higher than standard. Geon’s company went to meet us without any problems, they quickly made a non-standard door. But most of all, it struck me that they did not require surcharges for their work, they counted them as usual. The installers arrived and quickly did all the work, carried out even the old door.

The quality is good both for door leafs and hardware. The doors are moderately heavy, the door frame stands well, does not bend or sag. During operation, they did not lead, they did not swell from the water. Look good for such a workmanship. A good choice, I advise. They are worth their money in full.

They took 4 doors from the company Geon 3 years ago. To date, nothing critical has happened to them, they look quite suitable, though with the exception of the door in the bathroom. Honestly, I probably didn’t even notice anything, if I had not looked closely at the doors, now I need to buy in the kitchen, so I looked and should I take these again or not.

So, talking about something else, on one of the doors I found small pimples under the film, from the outside and inside. If you look closely, you can even see irregularities on the film. From which I concluded that MDF-finished doors should not be installed in rooms such as a bathroom, etc. Moisture eventually penetrates under the film and gradually begins to delaminate the texture layer of the wooden frame.The doors are good, but it’s impossible to get into wet rooms, and why not to other rooms.

The doors of the Geon factory, the Style2 model, were purchased about 2 years ago, during repairs in the apartment. They were chosen because of the stylish appearance, they look elegant in the interior, create a sense of modernity and high cost. From above they are glued with PVC film, fingerprints are not visible on such a coating, which cannot be said about veneered doors. One of the doors is in the bathroom, the film did not peel off, did not come back, it stands firmly and reliably.

By the way, the platbands can be selected telescopic, which we did. With such a box, you can do without nails, it is much more convenient and easier to install, and it looks prettier.
