The beam fell away after they looked at the bathhouse a year later it led, cracks appeared, everything was cracked. Other materials also did not inspire confidence. And in winter we saw a promotion with free storage. The beauty!!! We arrived at the office we all figured out, we paid, and when spring came, they all brought without problems. Last year, he decided to start building his house from aerated concrete blocks, among the manufacturers he preferred Aeroc.

The material is good, the blocks are porous, thanks to which the walls breathe in the finished house. In addition, aerated concrete blocks perfectly retain heat in the room. The size of one block is 600X300X200, despite the impressive dimensions, they weigh very little. He builds a house with their help quickly and easily, in a few hands you can safely manage in 2 weeks.

I am completely satisfied with the house, it turned out to be warm and economical. It took very little time to build, and not much money was spent on the material, so I recommend this material to everyone. For myself, for a year of using the house from aerated concrete blocks, I did not find any flaws, in the winter the house is warm, beautiful and cozy, and what else may be needed.

Having bought a plot of land in an urban area, I decided to build a two-story cottage for permanent residence. For the construction of the first floor, aerated concrete with a density of D500 was used, and for the construction of the second floor, aerated concrete with a density of D400 was used. When erecting the walls, it was necessary to insulate the underground section of the foundation, this eliminated the need to carry out additional wall insulation. Under the ceiling he installed an insulated armored belt.The outer part of the walls was covered with vapor permeable plaster. As a result, having stood the right construction technology, it turned out a warm and comfortable house with an excellent microclimate.

However, the house has some disadvantages. Heat is in it only if it is heated all the time. If you turn off the heating appliances, then the house quickly becomes cold.

When I started to build a house in the country, I chose aerated concrete, primarily because of the cheapness. Built over the summer, the house itself is 2-storey. Before that, I thoroughly studied the material, for giving I consider the most suitable option. Be sure to insulate the house, aerated concrete has such a feature, it is afraid of moisture, its pores are open, it absorbs moisture. When frost sets in, moisture freezes and the material may begin to crumble. I insulated the house with polystyrene, in the end I got a house in which heat is stored for a long time. In winter, we maintain warmth inside the house, we have a boiler, so compared to the neighbors, it takes us much less money to heat than theirs, and it is much warmer in our house. The neighbors have a brick house, not insulated with foam.

It’s better to take it in trusted stores, do not look for cheap materials, I bought two cubes at a cheap price, and they started to crumble, as a result I still had to buy.

When I was building a house from aerated concrete blocks, I already knew that to close the beams you need to make an arm belt. I used blocks with a brand of 500. I chose this brand, because the density is normal for a two-story house and the thermal insulation characteristics correspond to our climate.

Of course, I spent on the foundation because of the fragility and porosity of concrete. And this is perhaps the very first and biggest minus of my construction. The rest of the work was carried out quickly and there were no special problems.
Further finishing work followed. At this stage, I had problems with fixing various communications. Dowels for gas blocks "flew" to me a pretty penny.

Although the manufacturer claims that 380 mm is enough for the thickness of the walls and it will be warm in the house, I did not try my luck - plus, additional thermal insulation.
Therefore, I can’t say that I was satisfied with my choice.
